Dr Goga is a vibrant, empathetic and diverse specialist psychiatrist based in Pretoria. Her passions lie in the amelioration and deeper understanding of mental health and the complex human experience through evidence-based medicine and a multi-disciplinary approach.
She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBChB) from the University of Pretoria, a Master of Medicine in Psychiatry(MMed) from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg as well as a Fellowship of the College of Psychiatrists from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa(CMSA).
Dr Goga is well-versed in the assessment, diagnosis and management of mental illnesses in adults as well as children. Her special interests include child and adolescent psychiatry, mood disorders as well as the newly emerging field of bariatric and metabolic psychiatry.
Dr Goga is an advocate for mental health and firmly believes that mental health is the cornerstone of health. She is passionate about raising mental health awareness, especially within the African context, as well as the global improvement thereof through psycho-education.
